Bloomberg states that Anthropic may have surpassed its rival, OpenAI, regarding its IPO trajectory. OpenAI, which intends to go public but has not filed yet, is also looking to become publicly traded. This opens the door for drawing more interest and funding from a broader spectrum of investors, the agency states.

OpenAI intends to conduct an IPO in the autumn and file confidentially in the near future, as reported by The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg in late May, referencing sources.

Anthropic anticipates revenue of $10.9 billion in the second quarter, surpassing the previous quarter's figures by more than double, according to Bloomberg.

The agency reports that the company is nearing its first profitable quarter. According to sources familiar with the situation, Anthropic informed investors that it aims to reach $50 billion in yearly revenue by the end of next month.
