American companies to invest over $200 billion in the UK economy

The Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday that American firms will make a historic investment of £150 billion ($204 billion) in the UK during US President Donald Trump's state visit to London.

The primary investments will originate from Blackstone ($122.6 billion in the next ten years), Prologis ($5.34 billion), Palantir (approximately $2 billion in defense innovation), STAX ($52 million for UK expansion), Microsoft ($30 billion across four years), Google ($6.8 billion in two years), and many more.

British pharmaceutical firm GSK anticipates investing $30 billion in the US, while oil and gas corporation BP plans to invest $25 billion.

British firms, banks, and the government are projected to invest $80 billion in the economy of the US.
