The new members of the French cabinet were formally announced by Secretary General of the Presidential Office Alexis Kohler.

Several prominent ministers from the outgoing administration, led by the resigned Elisabeth Borne, kept their positions. They are Justice Minister Éric Dupond-Moretti, Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, and Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire.

Stéphane Séjourné, secretary general of the presidential Renaissance party and partner of current Prime Minister Attal, has been appointed as Foreign Minister, succeeding Catherine Colonna.

One of the major surprises in French politics was the selection of Rachida Dati, the former Minister of Justice under President Nicolas Sarkozy, to the position of Minister of Culture, succeeding Rima Abdul-Malak.
